The Cape House estate ajoins the magnificent Daintree National Park which stretches from the Daintree River to Cape Tribulation. Comprises approximately 17,000 hectares of rainforest over 120 million years old, it is the world's oldest living tropical rainforest. Much of the National Park is rugged, uninhabitable and largely inaccessible, and still today new species of plants and animals are being identified.

Within this wonderful World Heritage listed area the Daintree offers a diverse range of opportunities. 

Cape House is a 2km walk or short drive to Cape Kimberley and beautiful Cape Kimberley Beach.  You may be the only visitors to the long, white, sandy beach with its magnicient views to Snapper Island just 2 kms off shore.
